It will however affect EP holders when it comes to the convenience of carrying the ID card around Malaysia as compared to the passport. The EP holders will also now not be able to go through the fast lane at the KL International Airport immigration checkpoint by using the iKad.<\/p>\n<p>For informational purposes, the iKad is used like an ID card i.e. for identification purposes instead of having to carry photocopy of the EP or carrying the original passport around.
