Updates specifically for Pakistan passport holders

Effective 1 Nov 2018, all Pakistan nationals applying for Employment Pass (EP) under MDEC (Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation) will need to submit the following hardcopy documents :-

• Copy of Educational Certificatewith original attestation/original certified true copy (CTC) by the Malaysian High Commission in Islamabad, Pakistan or Consulate General of Malaysia in Karachi, Pakistan.
• Copy of Marriage or Birth certificate or proof of relationship documents with original attestation/original certified true copy (CTC) by the Malaysian High Commission in Islamabad, Pakistan or Consulate General of Malaysia in Karachi, Pakistan.

For purposes of the EP application, the Authorities will retain these documents and will not be returned.

Current requirements dictate the same certification process, but can be submitted online with no requirement for hardcopies being submitted.
